3. Booking Terms
Booking Confirmation – A booking is confirmed once CHIDA receives a signed agreement and the required deposit.
Liability – CHIDA is not responsible for damages, injuries, or losses during the event except where directly caused by our negligence.
Force Majeure – We are not liable for failure to provide services due to unforeseen events like extreme weather or road closures.
Health & Safety – We follow all food safety regulations and expect clients to provide a safe environment for our staff.
Alcohol Service – Alcohol will only be served where permitted by law, and CHIDA reserves the right to
4. Cancellation & Payment Policy
At CHIDA, we aim to make your event fun and stress-free — but as a food trailer, we do need to plan ahead.
Deposits & Booking Confirmation
A deposit of 30% of the total booking fee is required to secure your date.
Your booking is confirmed once we receive the deposit and a signed agreement.
Full Payment
The remaining 70% balance must be paid 14 days before the event.
For last-minute bookings made less than 14 days before the event, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Cancellations
More than 30 days before the event: Deposit may be refundable or partially refundable depending on circumstances.
14–30 days before the event: Deposit is non-refundable.
Less than 14 days before the event: Full payment is retained.
Special Circumstances
If extreme weather, road closures, or other unforeseen events prevent us from attending (force majeure), we’ll do our best to reschedule or issue a partial refund.
Partial cancellations (reducing guest numbers or menu items) may be accommodated with notice, but additional fees may apply.
Notice
All cancellations or changes must be submitted in writing (email is fine) to ensure clarity.
